Reality Train Wreck

Okay – I admit it, I am the woman who LOATHES Reality TV.  I am usually the one who looks away when there’s an accident on the road.  I won’t watch morbid, I turn away from other people’s embarrassing moments. But a repeat of  “Real Housewives of NYC” was impossible to turn away from.  It  put the T in train wreck.  OH MY GOD!

Five rich NYC women who are really wannabe people.  What’s a wannabe people?  Someone who is striving desperately to be a human being.  Someone who is working at some point in their tenure on this planet to deserve the title of a real person.  They aren’t there yet, or maybe they were and somehow lost their way in their efforts to “BE”…

Maria:  Yikes, it’s that time of year again!

Marisa:  What time is that?

Maria:    You know, Spring, new beginnings, thinking about all the things you’re about to change.

Marisa:    Oh yeah,  I’m going to get right on that.  What are you going to change?

Maria:    Right now, I’m going to change lanes..

(Music playing in the background, heads, bopping, fingers snapping, time passing.)

Marisa:    Did you think of anything?

Maria:   I’ll let you know at the next traffic light…
