My computer screen is terrific and so the picture is hi res.

I’ve turned my parents onto Hulu and other forms of content they can get on the web and they’ve become addicted. They never check their email – but they certainly know how to watch programming on their computer.

I just don’t like watching programming on a little computer monitor. TV watching is largely as social activity for me and I can’t be bothered to hook up the computer to the TV (not to mention I try to keep the computer out of reach of the toddlers). I also don’t have the time to watch any more programming than I do now.

What would it have to be? Just good shows. I’m a big (new) fan of USA network. They’re coming out with some good stuff lately AND they make it available off-peak times. I work odd hours and probably do my TV watching after 11 at night. It would be nice to be able to get first run good programming when I want it and not have to fight over the one TV with the DVR.
