Leaving the office in a rush, I don’t stop to say goodbye, but I’m surprised when I step outside and the sun is shining brightly. It’s blinding. I can’t see what’s in front of me.
Suddenly I hear screaming and feel myself floating through the air. It hurts so much. The pain is searing. Turning my head I see a car upside down. When I reach for it, it bursts into flames.
Bolting out of bed, sweating and breathing hard, I’m disoriented, the dream is still with me.
“You okay?” Jack asks and he reaches for my hand.
“Where’s Claudia?” I ask in a worried voice.
“Who is Claudia?”
